Position:  Senior Organization Development Advisor

Reporting to: Director, Organization & Employee Development – Venita Indewey

University Health Network (UHN) is looking for an experienced professional to fill the key role of Senior Organization Development Advisor to provide solutions and consultative services to internal clients ranging from technical professionals to senior leadership to make a difference in patient’s lives. Supporting effective leadership practices and increasing capacity is our objective. You will apply expertise in the implementation, co-design, delivery and evaluation of:

  • Talent management solutions including selection, training, coaching, performance management, and succession planning to guide the progression of leaders based on UHN’s leadership strategy.

  • Engagement surveys and action planning including vendor management; planning, communications and project management of surveys and reports; researching best practice, co designing solutions, and supporting clients to action plan based on results to increase engagement.

  • University degree required; relevant post graduate degree desirable

  • A minimum of 10 years in leadership talent management experience

  • 5+ years experience with all aspects of managing a team of direct report staff

  • Strong project planning skills to manage multiple demands in parallel

  • Experience with change management practices to support organization initiatives, and to increase leadership capability to effectively lead those change initiatives

  • Demonstrated experience applying adult learning, self-awareness and change principles to the design of experiential learning that converts to changed habits and leadership practices

  • Expert facilitation and problem solving skills at all levels of leadership

  • Superior interpersonal skills; able to gain trust and partner with peers and leaders on difficult tasks and conversations

  • Able to use resourceful approaches to arrive at cost effective, simple solutions

  • experience delivering talent management solutions including a variety of solutions delivered over time with specific results to demonstrate effectiveness.

  • describe your experience planning and delivering employee engagement surveys through all phases including outcomes over time and effectiveness

  • practical experience and lessons learned managing staff to be a credible people leader

  • experience planning and coaching others through change
